Anonymous player from Cotswolds collects a £1.000.000 Euromillions prize

Euromillions changed hundreds of lives with its UK Millionaire Maker draw, and one anonymous punter from Cotswolds recently joined this amazing group of winners. About a month after matching the correct code, this lucky ticket holder finally claimed their impressive £1.000.000 cash reward.

The mysterious punter matched one of the winning UK Millionaire Maker codes in Euromillions draw on February 13th. Since the player didn’t come forward for a couple of weeks, Camelot encouraged everyone in Cotswolds to check their tickets so they wouldn’t miss the opportunity to collect £1.000.000. Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at the National Lottery was very pleased to announce that this lucky individual finally claimed their windfall almost a month later.

“We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win. It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this life-changing amount of money,” said Carter.

Euromillions has been rolling over since March 13th when a single ticket holder from Portugal scooped a £54.000.000 pay-out. The latest draw that failed to produce a jackpot winner took place on March 16th – the winning combination consisted of the numbers 4, 17, 24, 27 and 31 with the Lucky Stars 10 and 11. Three players from the UK, Portugal and Switzerland collected £310.000 each after missing the jackpot by one of the Lucky Stars. Two participants from the UK scooped £1.000.000 in the Millionaire Maker draw after correctly guessing the codes XSXQ 09310 and XSXQ 90154. The next Euromillions draw will take place tonight and it will offer a £22.000.000 jackpot!
